Arlo Pecolados was born and raised in Montreal, Quebec. Growing up, he became involved in various church ministries during his youth. It was during these formative years that the Lord began to shape his heart to love God fully and serve God wholeheartedly.
Arlo completed most of his education in Montreal, graduating from Vanier College with a Diploma in Collegial Studies in Architectural Technology. It was during this time that God began working in his heart, calling him to full-time ministry. Following his graduation, Arlo answered this call by enrolling at FaithWay Baptist College of Canada in 2018, where he earned a Bachelor of Theology with a minor in Church Administration. It was there that he received most of his formal ministry training. During his studies, he had the opportunity to intern at Legacy Baptist Church under Pastor Mark Alcock. These experiences ultimately led him back to FaithWay, where he joined the staff in 2022.
He currently serves as a Pastoral Assistant at FaithWay. His wife, Jeizelle, is also a graduate of FaithWay Baptist College of Canada, earning her degree in Christian Education in 2021. She has since faithfully served as a homeroom teacher for grades 7 and 8 in the Christian day school for the past four years. Together, Arlo and Jeizelle are actively involved in several ministries, including coordinating the AWANA kids’ program, assisting in the youth ministry, teaching in the day school, and leading the teen Sunday school class. Arlo finds his greatest joy in ministry through the daily opportunity to invest in young lives and help equip the next generation of Christian leaders.
His hobbies include basketball, basketball… and oh, basketball! Whether it’s watching game highlights or shooting hoops with the youth at church, he’s always up for the sport. Apart from this, Arlo also loves indulging in all things coffee alongside the rest of the Pastoral staff.
